Moth to the flame

Skizze zum Thema Ignoranz

von  DanceWith1Life

I am going to try to describe these kind of strange observations to you, that flooded my "lyrical me" like waves over a period of time without me being able to make sense out of it 'til one day something happened.
Have You ever listened to a song and felt a teardrop and it wasn't like you were crying, but something inside cried out.
And it wasn't exactly what the song was about but what  it set free inside of you.
And all along your journey through the years no one told you that this is hidden inside, even deeper than your dreams, and of course it made all this struggle kind of hollow.
One day the queen was strolling through the streets of her town, gazing at all the goods that were placed so nicely in the windows of the shops. When she realized that picture of herself in every window she looked at.
But to her strange surprise in every picture something was missing.
She decided to go back to the palace and have a cup of tea, feeling a bit puzzled about what she saw in the windows.
She would have never been able to explain this to anyone, this much she understood immediatly.
But the impression was like buying one photograph after another but each was cut off on a different corner. She went straight to the kitchen to make the tea, went  to the cupboard to get the pot and cups, when she noticed a moth in the corner by the cupboard.
She put water into pot and went to light the fire on the stove, when she saw the moth appearing from that wall it was sitting.
The song was "don't let the sun go down on me"
She knew what was about to happen if the moth comes into the radiance of the fire.
Between her being a bit puzzled from the fragmented pictures and the appearimg moth seemed to be a unexplainable bond, but where and how she had no idea.
When the moth came close to the fire she couldn't help but utter, stupid animal.
Don't call us stupid, look at yourself, remember Hiroshima, the moth whispered and flew out the window.
When i woke from that scene, i decided to get some milk for the late tea and went outside.
It was a bright sunny day.
I dislocked my bike and drove down the road where the shop was placed. They had no idea, the hidden inside whispered, it was a sunny day.
I was shocked.
I looked up  at the blue sky, and all i could observe was a bright sunny day.
Not today, still time to change.
