Poe´s Raven

I came across the strangest bird
It spoke to me with just one word
It was as black as raven´s be
”Nevermore” it cried to me
And loked at me so wondrously
While sitting in the way

”You stupid bird” I said to him
And then I stared right back at him
I asked ”Is this the only word”
”That you can say, you stupid bird”
Cause we don´t live in such a world
Where words will last forever

The bird kept sitting in the way
Was not inclined even to sway
To clean its feathers it began
And ”Nevermore” it cried again
And just blinked now and then
And didn´t leave its place

I said to him ”Go back to Poe”
”Cause I won´t listen so and so”
”Because I know that raven´s lie”
”They will keep on as times go by”
”And by the way, they spy”
But ”Nevermore” it said again

I just thought its getting dreary
And of this bird, I am really weary
And I don´t think this game is fun
So I shot it with a powdergun
It won`t cry nevermore for fun
It finally gave up
