Carthage you Queen of ancient days
Carthage you ruled in many ways
No match for you was Syracus
Dionysos, he played the blues

To Baal we would still pray today
If not, for Rome, you shattered lay
The Romans they called US barbars
And forced upon us mortal wars
THEY had no culture, what they had
They stole from greece, isn´t that mad
We should have won by nature´s laws
And we HAD won the Roman Wars
Only for foulest circumstance
They somehow won, for happenstance

Baal shone upon the strongest fort
He was our one almighty lord
He gave our man the guts to fight
He was the sun that shone so bright
Astarte shimmered through the night
And filled the darkest night with light
She was the goddess of the life
Fertility, and cultural life
The gods of our pantheon
Forever they should rule thereon

Where we had two they needed dozens
And half as great, Jupiter wasn´t
Our warriors had the bravery
Our armies had the weaponry
Our generals where brightest heads
The Romans, they wore funny hats
We made the mighty elephant
Walk cross the alps, that´s excellent

And still we lost, does Baal know why
Forever mourn, you had to die
This outcome it was most unfair
Oh Shakespeares wrong, foul´s never fair

If it within my power lay
I´d change the history today
I won´t forget my ancient home
No matter where my soul might roam
So Baal give me a timemachine
So I can change what has been seen
Carthage might wipe out Rome someway
To shine for many a year and day
