How could i ever tell you this
the streets were there
but cars were rare
and empty streets
would look much better 
made of meadow

So all the trees just spread
their sparkling shadow
into grey
what can i say
this grey turned into a darker grey
and grey in grey we walk a lot

But since we cannot find our way
through all this grey
the signs and names could make a book
oh eyesight take a closer look at twilight
the rivers morning fog hue up the grey
and up the hill
and stay close to the ground
as if they were to be the meadows sound
the morning beams light up
all colors sing
but not the grey
