Changes

Symbolgedicht zum Thema Veränderung

von  ian_grey

Bright light becomes darkness:
orange feathers like yours,
little bird,
are not meant to be
like raven.

Soft light becomes nothingness:
a beautiful butterfly,
little bird,
shall not lose his brilliance
to ashes.

Bright fur turns into scales:
a soft skin like yours,
little cat,
is not meant to be
like lizard.

Soft fur turns into needles:
a beautiful mouse,
little cat,
shall not lose its softness
to razors.

Animals can change, but they may not defy their nature, or their nature will perish.

Elegance becomes bizarre:
black feathers like yours,
old raven,
turn grey in a while
but never pink.

Grace becomes humility:
an upright stand like yours,
wise lion,
may rest in a while
but never subordinate.

Animals can change, but they may not defy their nature, or their nature will perish.

Bright light becomes light brightness:
blue feathers like yours,
happy bird,
keep their felicity
drenched green.

Graceful elegance becomes elegant grace:
a silver crown like yours,
little budgie,
can also delight
a raven.

Animals can change, but they may not defy their nature, or their nature will perish.
