Silence and Darkness
No thoughts penetrate my Peace
But what is that?

A flash of memory before my closed eyes
green meadows and dark forests
friendly faces, sun on my wings

Stretching my wings
Pain flashes through me
Memories fade as pain overwhelms me

Darkness again and a voice that commands me to kill
I do as commanded
I don't know who I killed

I can't remember, I must not remember
Pain whenever I try
But my mind screams “Remember!”

I am sleeping
Flying free over my forest
My forest?

I hear a command
I have to obey
I do but my mind screams “No!”

My internal struggle worsened
I killed one I recognize
He was a friend

The grip my master have on me fades
More and more
Day after day

He made me kill a friend
That freed my will
His lifeblood on my claws

My wings remember freedom
My eyes remembered his'
My mind remembers who I once was

Another command
My body wants to obey
My mind is stronger

I fly
I feel the wind under my wings
I am free, my mind is free

They will hunt me down
They will kill all what is left of my past to get to me
I can't let them do that

I am a huntress
I am sworn to protect them
I have only one choice

One last turn
One last flight
One last look over my forest

Swift and quickly my claw strikes
Not against friends
Not against my foes

Blood on my claw
One last breath
One last struggle against death

Peace is mine again
My body on the ground
My spirit lifts

Free
I am finally free
Free and my people are safe
